He has a background in Business and a fitness professional for more than 25 years. He has created and owned multiple health clubs and has expanded Evo Sports Global to include 4 major cities in large scale venues. Having been an athlete his entire life he was driven to create a unique platform celebrating a multitude of sport events and a place for athletes to showcase their talents. Evo events has grown every year and continues to remain one of the top promotion’s companies in the nation.

    In 2019 Luis joined the EVO Sports team to help with Branding and event awareness. Having been an athlete his whole life he wanted to pursue a career in the fitness world while using his skill set in Graphic Design. In 2020 he reinvented the marketing strategy for EVO Sports Expo Sacramento, earning him the title of Marketing Director.

    Hi I’m Paul, I have been in the fitness industry since 1999. I was born in Southern California and raised in San Jose, Ca. I live in San Jose with my wife Carla and our 2 kids, my son Cruz is 4 and our newborn baby girl Capri who is only 8 weeks old. So for over 23 years I have been in the fitness industry starting with being one of the founders of Blown Gear clothing line and sponsoring and promoting NPC shows and Expos all over US. So as I embark as a partner with EVO Sports Expo I am looking forward to growing this “Sports Extravaganza” as I call it and help to build a sports community to every demographic region we put on an expo. The Sports and fitness industry is a true passion of mine and with the whole EVO team we plan on providing the best Sports Expo and atmosphere in the West-Coast and beyond.

  • Mellissa Wang first became involved with the EVO Sports Expo in 2012 when she fought on the show as an amateur MMA fighter. She became the EVO Sports Expo strawweight champion in 2013 in a rematch against her opponent from 2012. Her 10+ years of previous experience in experiential marketing event management made her a perfect fit to join the EVO team in 2016. She has played an instrumental role in helping us to grow the expo to what it is today.
